Elizabeth Pierre: "I am a 3rd year PhD student (final year of coursework) in Pastoral Theology and Clinical Program at Garrett Evangelical Theological Seminary. I have served as a counselor and supervisor at a drug treatment program for women in Boston prior to continuing my doctoral studies. I'm interested in how to provide adequate pastoral care for trauma survivors particularly in countries where there is chronic violence and in the role of forgiveness and reconciliation in such violence contexts. When I am not constantly reading or writing papers, I love to travel and join with what God is doing around the world! This is my first trip to Liberia and look forward to see how God is working in this beautiful country!"
