Action Faith Institute

Rebuild Africa has partnered with the students, faculty and administrators of a pre-K to grade 12 school called Action Faith Institute, which is located in the Paynesville neighborhood of Monrovia.

Together, we've replaced the school’s roof and expanded its classrooms, providing ventilation and lighting, which has improved the learning environment and given more space to students. We also renovated the library, providing students at Action Faith Institute with a new space that houses learning and reference materials that they lacked. Funding for these projects came from both Rebuild Africa and local Liberian sources.

Future plans include the installation of electricity in the school, and the eventual introduction of computers. Electrification of the school will also make possible evening classes for adult students.
